Growing seedlings indoor Part II

I have been working on this second part for a few days now. The last few days here in NY were cloudy and I couldn't get the clear photos. So I had to hold off posting this. Anyway here you go!

Last posting we saw a bunch of peppers - bell peppers, Chilli peppers etc. I planted 4 types spicy peppers (Habenero, Bird's eye Chilli, Italian Chilli pepper and Thai Chilli Pepper) and two types of Bell pepper (Red and yellow).

In this posting lets take a look at some other types of vegetable seedlings in my seed tray.

Snake Gourd (Trichosanthes cucumerina)

The plants are long and has vines. They are almost ready for transplant but since this is a tropical vegetable I need to wait for soil temperature to rise to at least 75-80 degrees F.

Collard Greens (Brassica oleracea)

The seeds are from 2017. I am surprised that it grew.

Italian Basil (Ocimum basilicum)

Beet Root (Beta vulgaris)

This is the first time I am growing these indoors as I usually direct sow them in the garden when the temperature is up. I will post more pictures in the summer so you can see how it turned out.

(Can you see the back basil seedlings I planted peeking out from one of the cells? ;-))

Egg Plant (Solanum melongena) - Long Violet

I planted these late and that is why the green egg plants looks larger than this one.

Tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum)- Roma

Dill (Anethum graveolans)

I planted several seeds in the tray in adjacent cells. Not sure how I am going to "detangle the dill" when it is time to plant it outdoor.

Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla)

Though I have the seeds for this for a couple of years now, this is my first attempt at growing this. A cup of Chamomile tea, anyone?
