And we harvested Part II
There are a lot of cherry tomatoes this year. They seem to grow by itself every year as so many of the fruits fall on the ground leading to next years crop. This is so easy to grow and I can't figure out why it cost so much at the super market. We gave away a lot of tomatoes to our friends and neighbors.
Then there are potatoes which harvested, cleaned and left to cure in the shade for 2-3 weeks.
More Roma tomatoes.
I cut the tomatoes into quarters, removed the seed and added a bit of salt. This I then left to dry in the sun for a few days until the they are completely dry. I also washed the seeds multiple times in clean water and then left the seeds to dry as well. These seeds will be used in next year's planting.
The above is Indian long beans - green variety. The mature seeds are black in color.
This is also Indian long beans also called Asparagus beans - red variety. The mature seeds are a light peach/reddish in color.
We also had green chillies, red chillies, bell peppers, soy bean, beet roots, potatoes etc. More on this coming up.
